The Alzheimer's Association Oregon Chapter is seeking volunteers who have a background in elder care, who have caregiving experience, and/or who want to provide support to people with Alzheimer’s disease and their families to facilitate a caregiver support group in Bandon.
Group is twice per month, 1.5 hours per group.
The following group needs facilitators:
Pacific View Assisted Living
2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 10:30 to 11:30 AM
(if you can only make one of the groups that works too)
Next training: October 13, 2016 from 9am to 12pm

The Alzheimer’s Association Oregon & SW Washington Chapter is part of the Alzheimer’s Association, the world's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. From its offices in Portland, Bend and Medford, the Oregon Chapter provides education and support for people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, as well as their families and caregivers. In addition, it offers local support groups, early-stage engagement programs, community education classes and a 24/7 Helpline (800-272-3900).
