Homeschool Resources Group is seeking a part-time (up to 29 hours per week) Assistant Robotics Coach

QUALIFICATIONS: Assistant to help support our youth robotics program. This position will serve to assist with facilitating activities necessary to help the team(s) succeed.

Primary job duties include:

Assisting with on- and off-site events; facilitating learning activities; locating and recruiting new mentors, team members, sponsors, and field trip opportunities; travel with team to competition venues; supervision and oversight of team members. Marketing and outreach facilitation and participation. May assist with additional STEM programming.

The ideal candidate interested in working with middle- and high school team will have experience in robotics, programming, engineering, or technology in general. Candidate working with younger teams should have experience working with children, and possess a strong desire to learn. All candidates must be self-starters, possess critical thinking skills, and perform work with little oversight. Preference will be given to candidates who have FIRST or VEX robotics experience at any level.
