Homeschool Resources Group is seeking a part-time (up to 29 hours per week) Community Engagement

QUALIFICATIONS: Assistant to help support the group. This position will serve to coordinate and assist on projects/events within the agency and the community.

Primary job duties include:

Assisting with on-site events; exit/entry assistance, reception assistance, answer basic information via phone and in person, and monitor and respond to voicemails and emails. Additional support includes providing marketing assistance, social media awareness and posting, member database administration, scheduling, coordination of classes, events, and space rental requests; and general organizational tasks.

The ideal candidate will have two or more years of experience in working within a non-profit agency and/or with volunteers, but entry-level candidates, including college students will be considered. Must be available to work days from 9:00am - 2:30pm (some flexibility in how hours and days of week to work are scheduled). Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required as well as a willingness to be trained in and learn additional software. Excellent customer relations skills required. Must have a clear background check and current driver’s license.
