Volunteers are needed to help Camp Sunnyside staff successfully clean up the cabin and program areas on the last day of Respite weekends. Tasks include stripping bed sheets, sweeping, picking up and organizing activity areas, and other related tasks. Camp staff often begin the clean-up process while campers are still in residence, making it difficult to stay engaged with our clients. Help us provide our campers a full weekend of connection!

ABOUT RESPITE:

The Easter Seals Iowa Respite program provides temporary care for children and adults with disabilities, allowing parents/caregivers a break while providing the clients with a safe, and supported social environment. Regularly scheduled respite weekends are held at Easter Seals Iowa Camp Sunnyside twice monthly. Emergency care is also available. Respite services provide all the amenities at Camp Sunnyside including boating, swimming, horseback riding and much more.
