The Howard County Office on Aging and Independence's 18th annual 50+EXPO will take place on Monday, October 31, 2016 and will feature more than 150 vendor and exhibitors of interest to older adults, families, caregivers, and professionals. The 50+EXPO will also feature a comprehensive health fair, screenings, healthy aging seminars, flu shots, and entertainment.
Volunteers are needed throughout the day on Monday, October 31st. If interested in volunteering, please go to https://www.hocovolunteer.org to register and to schedule yourself for the time and position you wish to volunteer. (After you register, click on the 50+EXPO volunteer opportunity for self-placement.) Students are welcome to volunteer and can receive service hours.

Description
The Office on Aging and Independence promotes the full inclusion of persons with disabilities, addresses the needs of an increasingly diverse cultural community, and supports the desires of our citizens to remain independent as they grow older. Our commitment to a No Wrong Door approach makes it easier for older adults, caregivers, adults with disabilities and their families to find the services they need.
