Kidney Walk is the nation's largest walk to fight kidney disease. Held in nearly 100 communities, the event raises awareness and funds lifesaving programs that educate and support patients, their families and those at risk.

The day of the Walk, we have various tasks that we need help with, was there a particular job you had in mind to help with? We always need help with set-up before the Walk begins: unloading cars, moving boxes, putting up signs and banners, station set-up, decorating, etc. Once the Walk begins, we need volunteers to assist us with registration, help direct walkers, station the different tents and tables (refreshments, t-shirts, etc), and assist us with the general flow of events. When the walkers begin along the route, we typically begin clean-up.

You can expect to be with us for about 4 to 5 hours from beginning to end. We encourage you to wear comfortable clothes and sneakers, and we will provide you with a volunteer t-shirt. As the event gets closer we will send out more information about what time to arrive, parking, etc.
