Data Entry for Museum Archives and Collections

ORGANIZATION: Stamford History Center

  • 89 people are interested

Our organization needs assistance with the ongoing project of entering and managing data in our Past Perfect Museum Collections database (prior experience with Past Perfect NOT necessary, but would be great! We can train). This important task entails entering and updating records in the system, being able to query the database and create reports as needed.

Specifically, the volunteer does not have to possess a background with Past Perfect software, although that would be helpful. But a good familiarity with computers, data entry and search, and experience with databases whether end user or structured would be helpful. Accuracy and attention to detail critical.

TIME MINIMUMS: 2 hours per week. 8 hours per month. Our facility is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 to 4.
