St. Mary’s Community Center provides a pre-school for children; workforce assistance classes, financial education, and public benefits counseling for adults; and food assistance and social opportunities for senior citizens. The center also hosts a monthly eye clinic. A volunteer is needed as a referral coordinator, providing referrals to social service agencies, assisting clients in completing applications for public benefits, organizing the monthly eye clinic, and responding to the needs of walk-in clients.

While serving full-time for 1 year at this site, volunteers also commit to living a simple lifestyle in community with other volunteers and sharing their spirituality.
