ORGANIZATION: Best Friends Animal Society

We are looking for local volunteers to help out with Best Friends Animal Society’s annual Strut Your Mutt dog walk and festival event, taking place Sunday, October 1st at Pier 26 in Nudson River park.

It takes a team of energetic and dedicated volunteers to produce such an extraordinary event, and this is your chance to help out by raising funds for local animal groups and working towards the goal of No More Homeless Pets.

Volunteer needs for this event will include: event registration; assisting along the walk route; clean up; staffing booths, attractions, and helping with stage/production duties as well as other festival-related needs.

Help with set up will also be needed the day and evening before the event, as well as assistance with tear down once the event ends.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
