NOAHH has contacted all Habitat for Humanity affiliates in the flood affected areas and continues to work with them to ascertain the best ways to help. We are also supporting NOAHH friends and family who need help with flood relief. We will be sending crews of staff and volunteers every Wednesday to help with flood relief. No experience in gutting/mold remediation is necessary! We are looking for willing hearts and able bodies to support these efforts.

New Orleans' citizens are faced with many issues which affect their quality of life. The question of safe, affordable housing may be the most pressing.Habitat helps to build homes for low- to-moderate income partners in need of secure, quality housing at an affordable price. We help families break out of the cycle of low-quality properties with high rent payments and into the world of reasonable payments toward home ownership.
NOAHH has many opportunities for volunteers to get invovled! We have new construction and home repair projects, as well as volunteer projects in our ReStore, and in the Habitat Urban Gardens (HUGs).
