Lambert House is Seattle & King County's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth community center. Founded in 1981, Lambert House was the first LGBTQ youth center open daily when we moved in to our current space in 1991.
We serve a diverse group of youth, with varied interests and needs, through a dedicated team of volunteers! We have a very small paid staff that fill a number of responsibilities, and we have need of administrative support.
Specifically we have need of a volunteer that has experience with data entry to enter donor information into our database, and prepare letters to mail to our donors thanking them for their contribution. Comfort with using computers is a must, and database experience is strongly desired (no database administration or strong technical skills needed for this project).
This project will support the organization tremendously and allow us to continue service to LGBTQ youth by maintaining great relationships with our donors. Eighty percent of our operating budget comes from donations by individuals.
Please email for an application and to set up an interview. Training for our database provided, and optional training about our youth programs and being in direct service with youth optional (this position will not work directly with youth, but the training gives a very thorough background and understanding of how the organization serves youth).
