For the past 24 years the Veterans' Holiday Celebration has served many thousands of veterans with a homemade holiday meal, care packages and live entertainment featuring Jim Belushi and The Sacred Hearts. Volunteers are needed on Friday, December 1-Sunday, December 3. Last year the event attracted more than 900 dedicated and talented volunteers that helped make our event a huge success. Volunteer opportunities include: food preparation and service, assistance for disabled veterans day of event. On setup days and on event day volunteers will make decorations and setup the site. Volunteers will also help with logistics, registration, entertainment, security, preparation and distribution of thousands of care packages to veterans, photography, veteran outreach, a Spirit team that visits veterans in the hospital, clean up and pack up of event site and so much more. This is a truly rewarding experience.

The Veterans' Holiday Celebration creates annual community-based celebrations by providing food, gifts, entertainment, and heartfelt gratitude for all veterans and active duty personnel and their families to honor their commitment, dedication, and service to our country. Our volunteer communities and military families are united in a special day of love and appreciation.

We are building a future where Veterans across the USA will have a place of honor to be embraced, acknowledged, and welcomed by their communities, where food, music, laughter, and fun will be our language from the heart. We envision a country where all Veterans are cherished today, regardless of the political climates or public judgments they had to endure in their time of service.
