ORGANIZATION: College Re-Entry

  • 49 people are interested

Fountain House College Re-Entry helps young adults (18-30), who have withdrawn from college because of a mental health issue, to develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully reach their educational goals.

We are looking for tutors to support our students who have recently returned to college in various subjects, most commonly math (algebra, stats, pre-calc) and essay writing. Tutoring sessions take place at our Center in Hell's Kitchen and can be at a regular time each week or by appointment. Tutors must be available to meet with students during Center hours, Mon-Thurs 10am-6pm.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in education/tutoring!
