IDF Walk for Primary Immunodeficiency

Join us by supporting the Immune Deficiency Foundation’s (IDF) IDF Walk for PI (Primary Immunodeficiency)!!! This annual event raises awareness and funds to support people with primary immunodeficiency diseases. IDF is a national organization committed to improving the quality of life for individuals with primary immunodeficiency and their families.

Join us on Friday, October 21, 2022 and/or Saturday, October 22, 2022 to help set up for our signature fundraising event at Grant Park (parking included at Gateway Parking on Boulevard SE). We are looking for volunteers the day before the event and the day of the event, 15 years or older to assist in a variety of different areas, such as: registration, route support, set-up, clean-up, and much more! This is the perfect volunteer opportunity for families and groups! We have three shifts to fit your busy schedule.

Friday, October 21st

  • 3:30p-5:30p
Saturday, October 22nd
  • 6:00a-9:00a
  • 9:00a-12:00p
  • ***Or you can volunteer for the full day (6:00a-12:00p)!

  • Sat Oct 22, 2022 - morning / 09:00 AM to 11:45 AM
    Parking for the day at Gateway Parking included. Assist staff with prize giveaway, directing walkers on the route, and breaking down the event set up.
  • Sat Oct 22, 2022 - morning / 06:00 AM to 09:00 AM
    Parking for the day at Gateway Parking included. Support staff with set up, participant check in, prize giveaway, and directing walkers on the route.
  • Fri Oct 21, 2022 - afternoon / 02:30 PM to 04:45 PM
    Parking for the day at Gateway Parking included. We will be setting up for the Walk that takes place the following morning. Shift may go to 5:30 PM.

  • Addresses patient needs through public policy programs by focusing on issues such as insurance reimbursement, patient confidentiality, ensuring the safety and availability of immunoglobulin therapy, and maintaining and enhancing patient access to treatment options.

Thousands of individuals and families affected by PI diseases depend on IDF for advocacy, education and empowerment.
