This year, Oktoberfest 2016 takes place on September 23-25, 2016. It takes great teamwork to organize 2,000+ volunteers to host this amazing event for the community. Our volunteers make the difference and we appreciate any time you can give in support of this event.

Who Can Volunteer

You may volunteer as an individual, couple or group for one or multiple shifts. NOTE: To volunteer in the areas of Beer and/or Wine, you must be 21 years of age or older and can register for one shift. Shifts are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Popular shifts fill up quickly, so sign-up as soon as possible. All assignments will be confirmed electronically after we receive your registration. Please ensure you have the correct mailing and email address in the system.

Group Registration

To sign-up for a particular volunteer position, each member of the team must have their own individual account in The Dayton Art Institute VolunteerHub. Once logged-in, the Team Captain should take a look at what is available for the number of individuals in the group (example: if 10 people are in the group, look for volunteer assignments were 10 people are needed.) Next, send me an email to hold that shift until all members of your team have registered. Once you have verified that each member of the team has registered, email me their names and I will assign the team accordingly.
