U.S.VETS - Las Vegas is searching for a bright, energetic and resourceful team player to volunteer for our team . The Event Volunteer/Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing organizational and operational support in the development and execution of fundraising event projects.
This individual will have an opportunity to participate in special assignments and projects which will enhance their career development and growth.
Description/Skills/Qualifications:
Good organizational skills
Strong communication skills and outgoing personality
Highly motivated and ambitious (i.e., a self-starter)
Maintaining, organizing and managing existing events from concept to completion, ensuring they operate smoothly, efficiently and generate maximum revenue and exposure
Provides research support and completes tasks required for fundraising event execution
Maintains accurate and up‐to‐date records and files for all fundraising event management projects.

U.S.VETS provides comprehensive services to the veterans we serve, including case management, employment assistance, job placement, counseling, as well as drug and alcohol free housing. At our facilities veterans progress through a seamless continuum of services designed to help them increase their level of responsibility and prepare them to live independently in the community.
