NORDC Outdoors provides free activities and classes Tuesday-Saturday each week to a variety of patrons. Activities include canoeing, fishing, geocaching, nature walks, teambuilding, and learning wilderness survival skills. Volunteer assistance is always welcome, and we will train volunteers in the activities they volunteer for. We are currently seeking volunteers to assist on the following days and times:
Saturdays, 2:00pm-4:45pm
Thursdays, 10am-1pm

NORDC Outdoors encompasses the outdoor recreation programs of the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission, providing safe and welcoming opportunities for New Orleanians to enjoy the outdoors and participate in outdoor activities.
