We are in need of your help. Center 360 has partnered with a Middle School in Huntersville to provide career enrichment programs for youth in grades 6 through 8.
We often hear the talks of what needs to be done in our communities, and now we are asking you to join us in doing the heavy lifting.
Our needs:
- Volunteers to help with tutoring and homework help
- Volunteers to assist with mentoring 1-2 youth during the school year
- Volunteers to assist with Music, Arts, Athletics, and/or Technology programs
- Volunteers who are truly committed to making a difference!
You are needed in two different areas:
1) Homework Helpers & Mentors are needed Tuesdays and/or Thursdays to join the students at a middle school in Huntersville between 4 and 6:30 PM. During this time, you will assist our students with 6th-8th grade schoolwork and homework, support them with signing in to their classes in a timely manner, and building a rapport with them along the way.
2) Career Development Programing volunteers are needed Monday - Thursday between 3:30-6p at our sites off West Blvd. and at a middle school in Huntersville. You will have the opportunity to join us (or stay with us if you're already there) and engage with our youth in exploring personal development and life skills as we expose them to different careers.
Have fun with our scholars, be patient, and teach them something new everyday!
