We are looking for volunteers to provide transportation around Portsmouth for our senior and disabled residents. For residents who do not have access to a car, getting to doctors appointments, grocery shopping, and doing other errands can be difficult.
Contact us to see how you can help! We will work with you to find a suitable time commitment for your schedule. Background checks are mandatory.

The Authority provides both family and elderly housing, area-wide Section 8 housing, and a youth and family services program.
Persons whose incomes fall at or below 80% of median income can apply for assisted housing by picking up an application at the Central Office of the PHA located at 245 Middle Street, Portsmouth, New Hampshire 03801 or if you are disabled and cannot make it into the office you may call (603) 436-4310 and you will be mailed a copy of the application. You can also access an application on this web site, download it, and send a copy to the office.
