Maximum Accessible Housing of Ohio (MAHO) provides and promotes accessible housing solutions for people with physical mobility disabilities. Celebrating our 35th Anniversary in 2016, our Vistas Apartment Communities continue to provide accessible, safe housing for over 150 people in Northeast Ohio. MAHO is looking for volunteer groups to serve at one of our five Vistas Apartment Communities for Volunteer Days. MAHO has five communities throughout Northeast Ohio:
- Cotman Vistas in University Circle in Cleveland
- Pine Tree Vistas in Parma
- Lake Vistas in Mentor-on-the-Lake
- Sheffield Vistas in Sheffield Township
- Meadow Vistas in Avon Lake
Volunteer Days can consist of one or more of a variety of activities including landscaping (planting, mulching, weeding), interior maintenance (sanding, painting, decorating), and other specific projects (i.e. designing and building structures). Activities will be customized to fit your groups skills and wants. Groups should include between five and thirty people depending on activity. Contact us at 216.231.0990 or info@mahohio.org to schedule and plan your Vistas Volunteer Day! We prefer Volunteer Days conducted Monday through Friday. Please give as much notice as possible; not all communities have the same volunteer opportunities.

Description
Maximum Accessible Housing of Ohio (MAHO) provides and promotes accessible housing solutions for people with physical mobility disabilities. We have two programs, the Vistas Apartment Communities and the Anderson Center for Accessible Living. The Vistas Apartment Communities provide safe, accessible, and affordable housing to over 150 people impacted by physical disabilities. These five properties are located in Cuyahoga, Lake, and Lorain County. The Anderson Center for Accessible Living provides vital training and education for people in need. Seminars, trainings, and hands-on Demonstration Unit tours are available for a variety of audiences including people with disabilities, seniors, social service professionals, and other housing professionals.
