US Together is working alongside Big Brothers Big Sisters and Columbus City Schools to positively influence and change the life of the students that take part in this program.

The mentor will work once a week with their students on the following:

  • Conversational english
  • Character building activities through BGBS
  • Take part in career fairs and volunteer opportunities with the students through Clintonville Community Resource Center
  • Take the kids to do extracurricular activities

We are asking for the below criteria for our mentors:

  • 21 years of age
  • valid driver's license and insurance
  • bilingual (preferred)
  • 1 year commitment to the children
  • Evening availability Tuesday or Thursday
  • Mandatory meeting for mentor training
  • Ability to openly correspond with US Together about student progress and information
