Volunteer Reports to: Director Quality Services & Education
Summary: The Office Assistant will perform a variety of tasks depending on project deadlines in the Easter Seals DuPage office. This will include administrative tasks as assigned by the Director of Quality Services & Education. This position helps to extend the resources in the Easter Seals DuPage Center to better assist and direct the needs of our clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Scanning & electronic filing of medical records in Raintree Medical Records System
- Other duties specifically around coordination of special events, or as assigned
Requirements:
- Must present a professional appearance and a friendly manner
- Must be dependable, punctual, & detail-oriented
- Previous office experience required
- Respect and maintain confidentiality of Easter Seals DuPage clients, volunteers, partners, and donors
- Familiar with operating computers, copiers, & scanners
- Basic computer skills in regards to data entry & navigating various computer systems
Evaluation: All volunteers complete a 60 day evaluation
Time Commitment: 2-4 hours per week, preferably Thursday morning
