Volunteers Plant Native Species

Lend a hand in your national park, the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area! We will be working to restore native habitat at Spring Lake Park Reserve in Hastings. We need volunteers to help with planting some beautiful flowers. Come by yourself, or bring a group of family or friends! All participants will be registered to win an ENO double nest hammock, donated by REI. REI will also provide discount coupons and t-shirts. Participants will also receive a coupon for free admission to a National Park Service site, good for one year. Register at www.parkconnection.org/events

This event is a prelude to National Public Lands Day, the country’s largest single-day volunteer effort to improve and enhance public lands. Come out and help us plant for the future!

Please plan to arrive at 8:30 for registration.
