THE TERRY FUND IS LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS TO HELP IN OUR WAREHOUSE, OFFICE AND AT PUBLIC EVENTS. WE NEED DRIVERS WHO CAN PICK UP AND DROP OFF NEEDED EMERGENCY GEAR TO FIRST RESPONDERS IN THE NEW YORK METRO AREA. WE NEED YOUNG ADULTS WHO WOULD LIKE TO HELP WITH THE WAREHOUSE AND GIVING OUT GEAR AND EQUIPMENT TO NEEDY FIRST RESPONDERS.
WE SEEK VOLUNTEERS WHO CAN DONATE 4 TO 8 HOURS PER MONTH AT OUR BETHPAGE LOCATION OR WHO CAN HELP ON OUR TRAVEL TEAM WHEN WE DO SHOWS ON LONG ISLAND AND ACROSS THE REGION. WE ONLY WANT THOSE WHO KNOW HOW TO HAVE FUN AND KEEP IT LITE. WE LOOK FOR ADMINISTRATIVE HELP IN OUR OFFICE DURING THE DAY OR HELP WITH THE BUILDING INVENTORY ON WEEKENDS.

Mission Statement
SUPPORTING FIREFIGHTERS WHO SERVE OUR COMMUNITIES. The fund is always looking for volunteers who want to help by working a few hours at outr booth during shows and festivals we do. Also looking for volunteers who can drive a van or small truck and are willing to assist with the pick up of surplus fire gear throughout Metro NY region.
Description
do you like to be part of a group that works hard but has fun. Do you want to give back to the emergency service who protect our communities. We are looking for volunteers to help in the office or pick up surplus gear and to work at the various functions we do across metro NY. We are an all volunteer group with chapters in 13 states run by firefighters and friends of firefighters to help communities with needed emegency supplies and equipment. We also assist firefighters and their families with educational and emergency medical assistance grants when requested.
