You can have an impact on a community group of readers by facilitating discussion and learning! Santa Cruz Public Library's Downtown branch is looking for a book discussion group leader to guide particpants' exploration and discovery. Acting in a leadership position, this volunteer would be responsible not only for reading the selection and participating in the discussion, but also acting as a moderator for the group and selecting (or helping guide the selection of) the next month's read!
This exciting opportunity is one of SCPL's most independent and rewarding volunteer positions. Gain valuable leadership experience in a learning environment!
The group meets the third Thursday of the month, from 1:00-2:00pm at the Downtown library.
