Make a Difference in 2019

Let's get started with a rewarding volunteer opportunity. Vision Literacy may be the perfect option to check out.

You have many choices to open new doors of opportunities for our neighbors. Tutoring includes direct engagement with adult learners. You may also want to support and promote our service with your social media skills, plan community events or support the essential work of Vision Literacy in our administrative office in Milpitas.

Volunteer tutors are trained to provide one to one and small group instruction for adults who strive to read a story to a child, help with homework or improve their literacy skills to create new job opportunities. The rewards for volunteers and for adult learns are unlimited.

Vision Literacy provides tutor training and ongoing support for all volunteers. There is a place for everyone who would like to participate in this uniquely worthwhile partnership.

Join us for one of the fast paced interactive Volunteer Orientations held at several convenient locations throughout the county.
