Volunteer in our dynamic food booth at Oakland's Art & Soul festival!

We invite you to join us in building a new world where African, Indigenous and all oppressed peoples can be truly free from colonial oppression and violence.

This will be a great opportunity to bring the mission of Black Star Industries to this year's Art & Soul festival in downtown Oakland the weekend of August 20 and 21. Black Star Industries is building economic development and commerce for and between African people worldwide and inviting everyone to participate! #BlackPowerMatters

Our delicious menu is well loved by the crowds at Art & Soul include crab cakes,

chicken and vegan jerk sandwiches, fried plantains, garlic fries, and sweet potato pie.

We are looking for volunteers at our booth on Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 7am and 7pm. Any shift of 4 to 8 hours during that timeframe would be excellent!

We will also be doing production shifts scheduled on August 11 and 12 and August 18 and 19 and setup on site on August 19.
