ORGANIZATION: A-I-R PROJECT

Have you or someone you know been a victim of abuse? Do you have a family member or a close loved one who was sexually abused but had to be quiet about his/her abuse? Do you know someone who was bullied in school or contemplated suicide?

If so, were you able to help them? Did they receive helpful resources and outlets to channel their feelings? Did you know of ways to help them?

A.I.R. Project, which A.I.R. stands for Abuse Is Real, is a non-profit organization that provides prevention, intervention, and awareness information to various victims of abuse, violence, and bullying. We are a small organization with a mission and goals to touch and change lives in a loving and positive way of many who have experienced, witnessed, or encountered some form of abuse, violence, and bullying in their homes, schools, and communities. To help achieve our mission and goals we need compassionate, dedicated, ambitious, and driven volunteers to make this happen.

A.I.R. Project is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic people to help us plan a series of successful events for this late summer to fall, that will help us raise awareness and funding to further our cause to end abuse, violence, and bullying in our schools, homes, and communities. We are actively in the planning stages and would love to have some additional volunteers to help make this year's events be successful.

We are currently seeking people to help with our Venue and Event Committee (4 needed), Marketing and Promotion Committee (4 needed), and the Donor and Sponsors Committee (4 needed). If you will like more details about each committees please send us an inquiry.

Meetings are currently being held every other Monday @6:30 at Windsor Park Library. Our next meeting will be held August 1, 2016. Please only serious inquiries and attendees present; because we are a small organization most of our efforts are grassroots efforts, please be considerate and mindful of that.

Additionally, please provide a valid contact email that you check regularly and also check your SPAM folder just in case our reply is sent to that folder. We don't send out multiple emails, we do not send you spam emails, nor do we flood your emails with daily or weekly newsletters. We only send you emails related to the volunteer aspect once you become a volunteer. Emails may come from air@abuseisreal.com or giveahand@abuseisreal.com.

Also, please provide us with a good contact number to reach you.

We understand life happens, but we hope you will be considerate of our time and limited resources as we are trying to put our best foot forward towards furthering our cause. Thank you for your time.

Kindly,

Mrs. Pleasant
