Family Fun Day August 20, 2016
Knoxville Museum of Art
11am-3pm Free to the public
If you love art and like working with kids, you’ll definitely enjoy volunteering at Family Fun Day at the Knoxville Museum of Art!
Family Fun Day is filled with art & crafts, prizes, face painting, and lively family entertainment!
This season’s event will feature live musical performances by Mark Radice of Sing and Spell, a Cattywampus Puppet Show, glass blowing with Johnny Glass, and much more!
Volunteers will assist with:
- Setup and clean up of the event
- Directions and materials at the arts & crafts tables
- Keeping order in lines for face painting and other activities
- Participation in the interactive demos and music programs
Volunteers must:
- Be age 14 and up
- Apply to volunteer through the Visitor Service’s Manager
- Plan to arrive 15 minutes before shift
- Wear comfortable shoes and clothing
- Have a great time learning and helping your community!

- Contact the Visitor Services Manager at dfeliciano@knoxart.org
- Complete and submit Volunteer Application
- Groups should limit themselves to 10 volunteers (all names and emails for a group must be submitted by August 12 th)
- Apply by Friday August 12 th
Shifts are Saturday, August 20 th :
- 10:30am-1pm
- 1-3:30pm
- Volunteers may sign up for 1 or both shifts

Description
The Knoxville Museum of Art seeks volunteers who are dedicated to bringing the arts to a diverse community in E. Tennessee. You don't have to be an artist to volunteer, but you do need a passion for helping people and a good sense of commitment. We offer both one day volunteer opportunities as well as long term volunteer positions.
