Family Compass is a non-profit that works to build healthy families across North Texas by preventing child abuse and neglect. The agency holds parent education groups every Thursday from 5:30pm-7:30pm to train parents on how to manage stress, use proper discipline techniques and learn postiive parenting skills.
Childcare help is needed as many parents are not able to place their kids in daycare during this time. Volunteers will manage activities and supervise the children while their parents are in their groups. This opportunity is ongoing.
