We still need 40 volunteers to build a playground in ONE DAY. Volunteers do not have to be skilled, trained or have any special tools; they just have to be enthusiastic, energetic, team players, and willing to work and have FUN!
Durham Parks and Recreation, Keep Durham Beautiful, the Duke Durham Neighborhood Partnership, the Crest Street Community and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina are partnering with KaBOOM!, the national non-profit dedicated to giving kids the childhood they deserve by bringing play to those who need it most.

Keep Durham Beautiful, Inc. is a nonprofit, volunteer organization working in partnership with the City of Durham’s General Services Department and the County of Durham to bring private businesses, citizens and community organizations together to conserve and enhance the appearance and environment of Durham through cleanup events, beautification projects and educational activities.
