Do you want to join the fight in creating a world without cancer? Want to make sure that no one is ever robbed of another birthday from this disease? Then do we have the volunteer opportunity for you!

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society's signature fundraising event and is the number one fundraiser aimed at eliminating cancer in the world. Each year, four million people at over 6,000 events in 24 countries participate in this walk to fight against this disease that takes too much from too many. Relay For Life events raise critical funds that fuel the mission of the American Cancer Society, an organization that touches the lives of so many. Relay For Life events not only raise money for cancer research, but for services that focus on improving a cancer patient's quality of life as well as cancer prevention and early detection programs.

The Relay of Life of Monroe & Trumbull is looking for some passionate, energetic, movers and shakers to become a part of our Event Leadership Team! This team plans and executes the Relay For Life of Monroe & Trumbull. There are many opportunities and responsibilities taken on by our team of dedicated volunteers aimed at eliminating cancer once and for all!

Some of the positions of the Event Leadership Team include:

-Attend monthly meetings

-Entertainment

-Public Relations/Media

-Online

-Team Development

-Registration/Accounting

-Luminaria

-Setup & Logistics

-Survivor reception

-Food & Beverage
