At Brookdale Hospice we care for families and caregivers as well as our patients. The Bereavement Volunteer role is to assist families after the loss of their loved one. We greatly need assistance in making telephone calls to check in on bereaved family members. More people are experiencing complex grief due to COVID 19 and not being able to spend time with their loved ones. Various other projects like assisting with Bereavement support groups and memorial services, mailings, data entry and more are needed. If you'd like to provide Bereavement Support to our bereaved in person that is also an option.
