Are you ready to light up the faces of children again this year? The joyous season of giving to Texas children is almost here!

This year we are thrilled to announce our very FIRST AROUND THE BLOCK event in AUSTIN! That means we need YOU and 500 volunteers to light up the faces of Central Texas Children on November 15th!

We will be clothing over 500 children in Austin this year, and we need volunteers from the Central Texas area to help children and their families shop for clothing at the Kohl's in Sunset Valley on November 15th!

Please let your friends, colleagues, and family know about this event, as it is such a great experience for everyone involved. Our volunteers are so special to us and we would not be able to make this event happen without YOU!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

(1.) What is "Around The Block?"

ATB is an annual charity event put on by Kids Matter International, in partnership with Kohl's Department Stores. With the help of our generous donors, and amazing volunteers, we clothe thousands of children across Texas every November. We give away $100 vouchers to children of families in need, and the families are matched with a volunteer shopper at the event.

(2.) What do I get to do as a volunteer?

Our volunteers get to bring joy, love, and holiday spirit to the children of Central Texas. Volunteer shoppers will help the family pick out enough clothing to fill the vouchers (about $100 per child). Our volunteers love getting to know these families at the event, and the opportunity to help these children shop for fun and cool clothing! ATB is the perfect event to start off the holiday season by bringing this beautiful gift to families in our community!

(3.) What is the time commitment?

We prefer that our volunteers commit at least one hour. The entire event is four hours long.

(4.) Can I bring anyone with me?

Absolutely! We encourage our volunteers to bring family, friends, coworkers, or anyone that would like to get involved!

(5.) When & where?

Around The Block will be happening at the Kohl's store in southwest Austin on November 15th, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
