Teams and individuals needed for a 50th Birthday Bash

Encompass’ is hosting our 50th Birthday Bash this year, and we are too excited! We can't do it without our community, though. Come celebrate with us by helping us host a fun and free event featuring bouncy houses, a fire truck, free food, field games, face painting, and more. Below are the details:

When: Saturday, August 27th, 2016 from 11am-2pm (volunteers needed 9am-4pm)

Where: Centennial Fields Park, 39903 SE Park St, Snoqualmie, WA 98065

What: The birthday bash is a family festival that will feature a live band, a fire truck, bouncy houses, field games, face painting, free food, booths, and more. It will be a great chance to build community and meet more of the Encompass volunteer team, plus spend a fun day outside with kids, families, and other members from the area.

Volunteer Shifts: Volunteer shifts are 9-1pm, 12-4pm, or the full day 9am-4pm (with breaks, of course!). There is flexibility within those shifts, so let me know if that doesn’t fit your availability.

Volunteer Roles: You will receive training for your role on the day of the festival, and the only qualifications needed are your desire to have fun for a good cause. Outside of set-up and cleanup, roles during the event include:

• Manning the bounce house and obstacle course

• Facilitating the field games

• Handing out food tickets

• Helping at the Encompass booth

• Cutting and serving birthday cake

• Floaters: greeting guests and keeping an eye on parking levels, water supplies, and volunteer/guest needs throughout park

Volunteers are critical to Encompass' mission to partner with families to build healthy foundations for children. We have a vision for a community where all children thrive, and we thank you for your help in furthering our mission.

Sign-up: Please respond to erin.davies@encompassnw.org by August 15th or sooner to receive an Encompass 50th Anniversary t-shirt that you can volunteer in. I will need to know:

1. The times you are available.

2. If you have any preferences for roles during the event.

3. Your t-shirt size.
