We are looking to bring on another head chef for our hot meal program to cook our 1st Monday of the month meal that happens at 6PM.
If you have experience as a chef and feel comfortable cooking for 50-110 people at a community meal this is a great volunteer opprotunity for you!
Responsibilities include,
- Preparing the meal
- Greeting and help directing volunteers
- Preparing lists of what supplies are needed
- Consistently attending 1st Monday of the month meal. or communicating in advance when you are not available.
- Positive and accepting attitude towards volunteers and guests.

Description
TLCO accomplishes its mission by providing four community hot meals each month, a free monthly produce distribution (between June and November), a community garden that supports the hot meal program, and community-based health and wellness programing, supporting our neighbors in need. TLCO maintains strong partnerships with other community organizations to deliver its mission, including the Cleveland Foodbank, LEAF, University Hospitals, Ronald McDonald House Charities, North Coast Health Ministry, Lakewood Alive, H2O, Lakewood Catholic Academy, Lakewood Rotary Club, St. Edward’s High School, Big Brothers / Big Sisters, Lakewood Community Services Center, and many others. TLCO is also a registered Ohio Benefit Bank site, with trained Benefit Bank Counselors available upon appointment.
