Rescuing Leftover Cuisine is a nonprofit food rescue organization. We are dedicated to reducing food waste and bringing rescued food to those suffering from hunger or food insecurity.

Volunteers:

We are currently looking for volunteers who are looking to fight food waste and end hunger! The duties of a volunteer would be to help deliver excess food that would have otherwise been thrown out to a nearby homeless shelter. You will be guided by a lead rescuer (a person who takes charge of the event) and he/she will give you the information of the event.

Core Rescuer:

We are looking for a dedicated Core Rescuer for our leadership team to help with food pickups 5 hours per week. This position will come with a stipend or an $50 monthly MetroCard for each month. The Core Rescuer position is a four month commitment.
