The Albuquerque Council for International Visitors is now Global Ties ABQ! Each year we bring more than 150 emerging leaders from around the world to Albuquerque to meet with their counterparts in: business, education, government, NGO leadership, conservation, healthcare, governance, multicultural societies. Global Ties ABQ is a membership based organization. Our members are true citizen diplomats of the highest caliber. If you are looking for a way to better connect with your community as well as foreign nationals, becoming a Global Ties ABQ member is perfect for you! Volunteering schedules are extremely flexible and individuals are encouraged to extend a helping hand with any of our volunteer opportunities. These opportunities include home hospitality, home stays, escorting, helping with Global Ties events, and connecting with individuals from around the world.
To volunteer your time and engage with international visitors, it costs nothing! We believe that anyone should be able to help build bridges among nations. We connect international visitors, our community and our members to one another through citizen diplomacy and international exchange.
