We are looking for a few salespeople to help staff our craft fairs over the holiday season. Ideally, someone with a mind for retail who can help us market our inventory from Nepal and Nicaragua. All proceeds from the sales go to our programs.
Since 1999, Namlo International, a Colorado based 501 (c) (3) non-profit has been working in poor, remote mountain communities in Nepal and Nicaragua helping them become more sustainable through a range of grass-roots programs including education, economic development, women’s empowerment, and infrastructure improvement.
Thank you

Mission Statement
Our mission is to build long-term partnerships with vulnerable communities to support them in developing solutions to promote economic, educational, and nutritional well-being.
Description
Founded in 1999, Namlo International is a small international development organization based in Denver. Namlo International’s core programming focuses on services that provide marginalized, impoverished, and isolated communities with access to income generating opportunities through competitive market linkages, improved educational opportunities through teacher training and school infrastructure, and health and nutritional wellbeing through nutrition training, upgrading sanitation facilities, and clean water access.
Namlo International’s goal is not to just to build schools, but also to make them self-sustaining. To do this, Namlo focuses on a comprehensive approach to promote self-sustainability in rural areas with projects in children’s education, adult literacy and education, agriculture, women’s empowerment, business development, and water and sanitation.
In Nepal, Namlo International has a dhaka weaving program which provides rural women with training to produce dhakas, traditional textiles of Nepal. The women use a variety of materials including cotton, modal, silk, bamboo, and cashmere to make the dhakas, and they weave beautiful and unique designs. Namlo International sells the dhakas in the United States, and the women weavers have been able to double their income through the program. This extra income has provided the women with money to send their children to school.
