Bring some joy and compassion to a member of your community. Compassus Hospice is seeking patient support volunteers to provide companionship and emotional support to terminally ill patients and/or their families. Ways to help include: friendly visits, writing letters, reading, playing music, reminiscing, running errands, etc. Volunteers may also provide bereavement support to families. Learn about end of life issues.
Please see our other specialty volunteer needs including pet therapy or music therapy. Volunteer in your own community on a schedule that fits your availability. Patients are located in Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties so we have patients in your area.
