Join a cohort of 20 members to end childhood hunger in high-need schools in King County. The nationally-recognized and innovative FYF program reduces hunger in King County by helping low-income families access existing school meals and federal resources. AmeriCorps members serve in high-need schools to skyrocket breakfast participation by changing school culture and implementing national best practices like Breakfast After the Bell. Beyond breakfast, the Fuel Your Future program has ambitious goals of serving one million summer meals, teaching 2,500 students nutrition education, and serving afterschool super snacks to over 10,000 students.
