HealthSource provides community and workplace education and support around health and wellness topics. One of our busiest teams is the Immunization group.
This team plans and facilitates clinics throughout the DC metro area. Because the Immunization team is so busy working to meet the needs of our community, we need help preparing and educating our participants prior to receiving the flu shot. As a volunteer you would assist the RN with any clerical needs as well as assist the participant in reviewing the consent form. Our ideal volunteer partner would be interested in a long term volunteer commitment, be detail oriented, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
Our clinic locations vary throughout Norther Virginia, many of them being at Inova Hospital locations (Alexandria, Fairfax, Fair Oaks, Loudoun, and Mount Vernon).
Would like a 3 months or longer commitment; flexible schedule, ideally available for a few hours at least once a week; morning, afternoon, and some evenings.
