The Department of Recreation and Parks is looking for ongoing enthousiastic volunteers to assist our various boating pprograms. There are school programs (Kids in Kayaks) and Summer Camp programs during the day, service programs (Canoe and Scoop) on Saturday mornings, and recreational programs in the evenings and weekends. Pretty much anytime of day or evening, you could be out on the water!

Community Engagement & Strategic Partnerships with Baltimore City Recreation and Parks (BCRP) works with corporate, religious, academic, non-profit and volunteer groups maintaining parks in Baltimore City through community involvement. We organize events that encourage environmental awareness within the local community. Activities are designed to inform, engage, and inspire community participants to positively embrace and impact their environment. We encourage communities and corporate benefactors to become more concerned, involved, and conscious about Baltimore City parks.
