Habitat for Humanity is known for its efforts in building homes across the United States and even worldwide. However, our ReStores are often overlooked as a major part of the Habitat mission. Within our ReStores we process and sell gently used household items that are donated to the ReStore by members of the community. It is through the ReStores that Habitat is able to generate a significant amount of funds in order to build affordable housing for families in need.

We are seeking energetic and passionate volunteers who want to help us fulfill our mission to build homes for families in South Hampton Roads. Volunteers are the backbone of the ReStore, and with their help we are providing safe, affordable housing for low income families. 100% of our net profits from ReStore sales go toward building homes in the South Hampton Roads area. We feel honored to be a part of this mission and encourage others to join us by volunteering.

There are a variety of tasks in which volunteers can participate within the ReStore including cashiering, sales floor assistance, and donation processing. These are wonderful volunteering opportunities because they are available year round, allowing a dedicated individual or group to build relationships and community over time. Come join us!
