Train to become a Master Gardener volunteer educator. 2017 training will take place on Wednesday evening from 6-9 and Saturday morning from 9-12, August 30 - October 18.

Classroom time is followed by a year-long internship in 2018 in a variety of educational venues depending on participant interest and availability. We teach community gardeners, youth, adults and seniors in sustainable gardening and landscape practices. Master Gardeners also participate in local food systems and environmental protection work. Joining our group of 80+ Roanoke Master Gardeners is a great way to reconnect with the natural environment and your community.
