The Western Hills Healthcare Center is looking for a volunteer to help us care for our birds! We have a large cage in our facility that houses many birds, and our elderly residents love watching them-- they are the pets of the facility! The cage and the birds require monthly maintenance, and our activities staff (none of whom know anything about birds!), would love to have some help with this! We have manuals and instructions from the organization that donated the birds/cage, but we would be so grateful for a community member that is passionate about birds to come in once a month (any day, any time!) to do the required maintenance to keep our residents' pets happy and healthy. Each visit would take less than 30 minutes. Please let me know if you'd like more information on this opportunity! Thanks!
