ORGANIZATION: Wesley Housing/Wesley Property Management

Wesley Housing’s Summer Camp enrichment program at its community resource centers (CRC) focuses on rising 1st through 6th graders, providing them with an exciting opportunity to explore the outdoors, learn new skills, build self-esteem, and make lasting friendships and memories. We serve at-risk children in low- and moderate-income rental housing properties.

We need energetic and patient volunteers to assist at the following community resource center (CRC):

Colonial Village CRC: 2101 18 th Street North, Arlington, VA 22201

(In the heart of Arlington within walking distance to Courthouse and Rosslyn Metro Stations).

Volunteers will help with:

STEM Program activities and projects

Indoor/Outdoor recreational activities

Set up and clean up

Camp Days/Hours: Monday-Friday. 10:00am-3:00pm.

Camp Duration: 6 weekly sessions; July 11-August 26. (Camp closed July 25-29).

Time Commitment: Schedule is flexible; a commitment to at least one session/one day a week preferred.
