We are getting ready for the 2019 Santa Barbara French Festival July 15 & 16. This event is a fundraiser for Center Stage Theater. We have lots of fun volunteer opportunities:
Friday July 12 from 10:00-5:00 we need people to help us build our little French community. Tasks include setting up pop-up tents, cleaning tables and the stage, hanging signs, setting up chairs, checking in vendors.
Saturday and Sunday July 13 & 14 during the Festival there are also many different areas:
Park Greeters/Monitors - at each opening to the event we need people to hand out programs and greet people, possibly directing them to different attractions at the event. These folks also make sure no one brings alcohol into the event or takes any out.
Booth Workers - we need people in the information booth, the French Conversation booth and helping to sell t-shirts, berets, and in the beverage booths.
All volunteers who work at least 3 hours will receive a French Festival t-shirt, a voucher for a free beverage at the Festival, and a voucher for 2 free tickets to Center Stage Theater.
This volunteer opportunity does qualify for community service hours.

Center Stage Theater exists to provide a professional, affordable, and accessible venue for the performing arts in Santa Barbara. The theater promotes established work and fosters the development of new work, emerging artists and audiences in all disciplines of the performing arts.
Description
Each year Center Stage is home to approximately 175-180 performances by nearly 2,000 artists and entertaining more than 15,500 audience members. Thanks to generous community support we’ve added the Loop Assistive Listening System to enhance the theatrical experience for our audience members and our Rental Subsidy Funds supports new projects and producers.

- Be able to be outside, the entire Festival takes place outside at Oak Park. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. We will give you a volunteer shirt to change into when you arrive
