for Lift Up Atlanta's
Women's Empowerment Workshop
July 23, 2016
9am to 2pm

helping to build this program for the future

This workshop will include motivational speakers, spoken word artists, live entertainment and inspirational stories
The women's empowerment program is meant to encourage, motivate, educate and empower all women especially women in transition.
We are looking for volunteers and supporters that can help with mentoring, donations and programs that we will create such as money management, health and wellness, self defense, emotional support/counseling and other areas that will support our women.
Each volunteer is asked to bring a store bought item for our brunch such as bagels, cream cheese, fruit / cheese tray, croissants, sandwich tray etc.

Our goal is to provide supportive services to homeless women and children and partner with the community at large to help better their lives.
Description
Lift Up Atlanta, Inc. is a volunteer organization that provides basic care, recreational activities, hot meal programs etc. for homeless women and children. We also help feed the hungry with food drives and providing meals.
We partner with other non profit organizations to provide toys at Christmas, seasonal food baskets, furniture move-ins for the homeless, summer lunch programs for kids, back packs/school supplies for kids etc..
Our ultimate goal is provide transitional housing for homeless women and children and a resource center so that they can get all the services that they need to empower them to have a much better life.
