Gift of Adoption is a national charity that provides grants of up to $15,000 to complete the adoptions of vulnerable children from the U.S. and around the world. Priority is placed on helping children for whom reunification is not possible and are facing what is possibly their last or only chance at adoption, including those at-risk of separation from siblings, entering foster care, aging-out of an orphanage, or with critical special needs. Gift of Adoption is the largest provider of adoption assistance grants on a nondiscriminatory basis (without regard to age, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or marital status). Since inception in 1996, Gift of Adoption has awarded $14. million to give 4,467 children permanent families and the chance to thrive. Gift of Adoption is recognized by Charity Navigator and the Better Business Bureau's Wise Giving Alliance.

Our all-volunteer chapter boards engage leaders who believe that having a loving, permanent family is a necessity for all children, everywhere. Chapter board members are responsible for raising money and generating awareness. 100% of the funds raised by chapter board members goes directly toward awarding grants to unite children with their forever families in your chapter market.

We are actively seeking passionate, diverse, and experienced fundraisers to join our Georgia Chapter board. As of January 2022, Gift of Adoption Georgia has awarded $589,916 in adoption assistance grants across Georgia to complete the adoptions of 181 children.

We are looking for business and community leaders to grow our presence and our donor base. We aim to have everyone in Georgia know our name and pride ourselves on the fact that we are the largest national charity that offers adoption grants to qualified parents in a nondiscriminatory manner. Opportunity
We are looking for Board Members who:
- Are passionate about children, family, and who have a strong connection to adoption.
- Are business leaders in their field and connected to large personal and professional networks of philanthropically minded people.
- Enjoy outreach, relationship management, development, fundraising, and communications.

-Have strengths or an interest in event planning and execution, social media, influencer and foundation outreach and corporate partnerships.
- Are looking to leverage their network to create new partnership opportunities and increase the donor base in the state.

Gift of Adoption chapter board members serve 3-year terms. Each board member is tasked with recruiting one new board member to their chapter team by the completion of each term.
